How to use SD card as internal storage in android?

How to use an external SD card as internal storage. 

If your smartphone doesn't have sufficient internal storage and you want more space as internal storage to keep your data in it,  there are some steps to follow and your external SD card will be mounted as internal storage.
While doing this you should remember that if you keep any data in SD card it will be lost during this process, better you keep backup of all data stored in  SD card.
It is conditional on android version also, so check whether you have a latest Android version like nougat 7.0 or above.

Steps to follow:-

Step 1: insert SD card in your smartphone and wait till it gets detected by Android.

Step 2: open setting and select "storage".

Step 3: click on the "SD card".

Step 4: click on three dots shown on top of the screen.

Step 5: click on "Storage settings".

Step 6: click on the "Format as internal".

After these steps, you can use SD card as internal storage and save your data in SD card.
